U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has reportedly told his advisers that he intends to visit China after taking office, according to the Wall Street Journal. He is particularly interested in making the trip within his first 100 days in office. Chinese state news sources announced that Vice President Han Zheng will attend Trump’s inauguration, signaling China’s readiness to enhance cooperation. Additionally, Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping have had discussions about meeting in person, with one possibility being Trump inviting Xi to the U.S. The Chinese embassy in Washington has yet to respond to a request for comment.
