The 67th annual Grammy Awards will take place on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. While the event will still honor musical achievements, its focus has shifted to support wildfire relief efforts in the Los Angeles area. The Recording Academy has pledged to use the ceremony to raise additional funds for this cause and honor first responders who helped during the wildfires.
The main show will air live at 8 p.m. Eastern on CBS and Paramount+, and will also be available on-demand for Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers. For those without Paramount+, the Grammys can be streamed through services like Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, and FuboTV. Additionally, the Associated Press will stream a three-hour red carpet show featuring interviews and fashion coverage.
Beyoncé leads the nominations with 11, bringing her total to 99, the most of any artist in Grammy history. She is followed by Post Malone, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, and Charli XCX, each with seven nominations. Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, and Chappell Roan each received six nominations.
While the event will still celebrate music, the Recording Academy has emphasized that it will also be a platform for raising awareness and funds for wildfire relief. MusiCares, which assists music professionals in need, and major labels like Universal Music Group and Warner Music Group have redirected funds originally intended for parties and events to support the relief efforts. MusiCares’ annual Persons of the Year benefit gala will still take place on January 31, 2025, honoring the Grateful Dead with a special appeal for donations to wildfire relief.
In addition to these initiatives, the Recording Academy and MusiCares have already contributed $2 million to the relief efforts. The ceremony will reflect the spirit of resilience and unity that defines Los Angeles in this difficult time.
