The Fall of Diddy: New Doc Promises to Expose Dark Secrets of the Music Mogul

It seems that two documentaries about Diddy are set to release in January 2025, creating a major buzz in the world of content. The first, titled Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy, is scheduled to air on Peacock starting January 14. The second documentary, The Fall of Diddy, produced for ID by the same company behind Quiet on Set (a look into Dan Schneider’s alleged abuses), will be released as a four-part series on January 27 and 28. It will also be available on Max.

The Fall of Diddy promises to delve deep into Diddy’s legacy, touching on his influence in the music industry and his controversial history. Participants in the documentary include former Danity Kane member D. Woods, Natania Griffin (who survived a notorious 1999 nightclub shooting), multiple ex-employees of Diddy, and Thalia Graves, who has accused Combs of violent assault in 2001.

The trailer for The Fall of Diddy, which debuted on January 9, teases a broad look at Diddy’s life, ending with a stark statement: “Exposing Puffy means exposing them.” Along with these two, there’s a third Diddy-related documentary, Diddy Do It, produced by 50 Cent, which is coming to Netflix, adding to the documentary frenzy surrounding the music mogul.

Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Diddy’s controversial history has been examined in documentaries—another 2023 special for Tubi titled The Downfall of Diddy also focused on similar themes. While The Fall of Diddy may not have the same catchy title, it’s clearly part of a larger trend of documenting Diddy’s complicated career and legacy.
